For the first time the other day, I ordered some prints from this site. I've never done it before, but I've had a big list of ones I want for awhile and my wall is lacking art. So I ordered one 9x12 and two 4x6, one 5x5 and one 3.5x5.

The large picture came in a big tube on friday. While the prices for shipping weren't too horrible, they could be greatly cut down by doing things a little differently. First off, order summaries should NOT be printed on photo paper! That is a gross waste of money and ink. Print it on shitty newsprint tissue paper crap like every other company and you could probably save yourself hundreds or thousands of dollars in photo paper every year. And trees. I'm not like a hippie environmentalist or anything, but thats such a waste of paper and trees. As a former photography major, I know that photo paper is fucking expensive as hell. Don't waste it!

Today I received the smaller photographs in a photograph envelope, not bent or anything which was great. I really don't understand why the pictures would be sent seperately [at no charge to me, thankfully] when they could just save money by putting them all in the same tube. Not a big deal, but whatever.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the prints. Not the art itself, the art is wonderful, and thats why I ordered them. But the 9x12 is crooked and has a white edge where it wasn't printed on. And the 5x5 - hah! The actual picture is like 4x3 and the photo paper is what is 5x5. It looks terrible. That's a waste of my money, my time, and makes the art look bad. I ordered what I thought would be great prints and I'm very disappointed.
