Biography

I am an artist who specializes in photography. I haven't put too much of my photography on here yet, as I have just done a complete overhaul of my deviant art.


I was an art student in high school, as well as a T.A. for the photography class for two semesters. I have taken several college-level art classes as well, but sadly, have not been able to take any photography yet. I have been contacted by the Hallmark Institute of Photography several times to attend their insitution, but have declined. I hope to someday go to Massachusetts College of Art [MassArt] or Savannah College of Art and Design [SCAD]. I've participated in a few shows and contests, but where I live, most people are looking for pretty pictures of beaches and sunsets. You gotta make money to keep the art going, right?


I have an old Canon manual camera that I love. Nothing is better than having complete control over a machine when working with an artform. I tend to use digital more often, however, because it is more efficiant and less costly. My favorite mediums are pencil, colored pencil [I love crayola the most], and pen. I just recently purchased a Wacom Intuos3 tablet, so expect to see more digital art from me! I'm learning to color in photoshop, but just dont have the mouse skills, so I am very much looking forward to the percision a tablet can provide.


I opened my deviantArt account in 2004, but rarely used it up until February 2006. I have so much more I need to put up here! I hope you enjoy my gallery and come back to visit soon <3
